Who we are

Founded in 2017 in the heart of the Ruhr area, Evonik Digital has taken on the task of identifying potential for the use of digital technologies and methods as well as the intelligent use of data, bundling necessary competencies and driving digital topics.

Evonik Digital relies on an interdisciplinary team to develop digital business strategies, products, and services.

In order to follow a holistic approach, Evonik Digital cooperates with numerous partners, e.g. with a technology company like IBM, with the University of Duisburg-Essen or with research programmes such as the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab in the USA. Through the Gründerallianz Ruhr, Evonik Digital also takes the opportunity to benefit from the work and ideas of local start-ups in their early stages. As a member of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI), Evonik Digital actively contributes to the digitalization dialogue with peers.
